Crocco joins the prestigious Carbon Footprint Italy (CFI) program, an initiative that brings together companies committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting carbon neutrality, alongside other notable entities. Together, they have shared improvement ideas and collaboration opportunities for a sustainable future.
What is Carbon Footprint Italy (CFI)?
Carbon Footprint Italy is the Italian program dedicated to communicating the results of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions quantification, known as carbon footprint, and promoting carbon neutrality. Through CFI, companies can certify their environmental commitment and make public the progress made in emission reduction.
International Activities
CFI is part of a network of international Programme Operators called the Carbon Footprint International Alliance. This global network allows for the continuous exchange of knowledge and best practices among its members. Specifically, CFI and the Korean Programme Operator are working on a Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) for bilateral recognition of their respective registrations, thus facilitating international collaboration and recognition of sustainability efforts on a global scale.
Crocco's Commitment
Crocco's participation in CFI marks a significant step towards environmental sustainability. To obtain registration in CFI, Crocco had to meet rigorous requirements, including accredited third-party verification related to the quantification of its carbon footprint, in accordance with relevant ISO standards.
This commitment underscores Crocco's dedication to reducing the environmental impact of its activities and contributing to a more sustainable future.
