From November 3rd to 6th, Crocco will be present for the first time at the world’s largest packaging and processing trade show, held at McCormick Place in Chicago.

This packaging is now used in several sectors, such as ceramics, premixed products, and insulation materials, showing its versatility across various industries. As of today, the standard percentage has increased to 35% recycled content, reflecting our continuous commitment to sustainability.

Today, a fresh food product can not only guarantee safe packaging but also complete compostability. And in home kitchens, consumers can finally store food or leftovers with a safe film that can be disposed of in the organic waste, helping to do their part in protecting the environment while also reducing food waste.

This corporate transformation means that Crocco is not only an innovation leader in the world of flexible packaging, but also a promoter of positive changes aimed at reducing the environmental footprint of the entire sector.

It is the Italian program dedicated to communicating the results of greenhouse gas emissions quantification and promoting carbon neutrality.

This recognition, granted by the technical-scientific committee of the Compraverde Buygreen Forum, is a testament to the company's ongoing commitment to environmental issues and its transformation into a Benefit Corporation.

Production of the packaging, made from Balance®, a product supplied by Versalis, makes it possible to create a recycled film for food contact.

The project actively includes 250 employees.
